This is my new look website from now until I change it again. My first entry whilst Im setting it up. We may find a few things change as we go along. I’ve also just started my new job working with Adobe Pacific and al is going well so far.I am based in Melbourne but will be traveling all over the joint and making posts from exotic locations. Great to see the new site and congratulations on getting the Adobe position! I did a seminar that you did last year at Epson in Sydney – you were even better in person. I don’t know if this is the right spot but I have a question for you. Hopefully the answer will help others as well…
I often apply a heavy vignette to isolate the subject, eg. a baby held in fathers arms (low key portrait). Generally it goes well, but sometimes we get noticeable banding in the feathered area.
We’ve tried layer masks, gaussian blur, duplicating the original layer and erasing back, etc. the banding is reduced but still visible on screen and on the print (Epson 3800). Would love to know if you have found this at all and any suggestions you might have to reduce the problem.

You have really great tutorials, i like that you have a variety of all the programs instead of just focusing on one. Really helps out. I was wondering if there was any way to see your previous videos, since your site and your podcasts on itunes start at around 30 or so.
