Preparing for Print with InDesign (No. 74)

Creating artwork for print has come along way with InDesign. You need to check for many things before printing, like missing fonts, resolution even specific spot colors. We take a good close look at the Live Preflight in InDesign CS4, it will do all of the heavy lifting for you if set up correctly.

One Response to Preparing for Print with InDesign (No. 74)

    Hi Mike,

I am working as Finished artist in Snow Leopard now and I can’t print post scripts anymore. Even trying the way adobe recommends (creating adobe pdf in the printer pop up menu) doesn’t work! My IT company doesn’t know what to do and I am getting proofs back from my printer suppliers with bad resolution in the unflattened pdfs! I am talking to different people and all say it is fine exporting directly to pdf from Indesign BUT obviously thats not true looking at my proofs! I can’t find any seminar about this in the eseminar website or on your sweetTV website… HELP :)
