We use Adobe Bridge to drage and drop or place images, we also use the new corner effects. But more importantly than that we use the ugliest arrow heads ever and copy and paste them from Illustrator cs5 to create buttons that trigger out gallery!

Creating artwork for print has come along way with InDesign. You need to check for many things before printing, like missing fonts, resolution even specific spot colors. We take a good close look at the Live Preflight in InDesign CS4, it will do all of the heavy lifting for you if set up correctly.

Hello everyone that attended my ebook presentation at the InDesign Users Group in Melbourne.
As promised here are a bunch of resources that you may like. Firstly here is my Mikes Ebook slides.
If you want to try authoring in Adobe Buzzword, you should create an account on acrobat.com and Buzzword can export to both PDF and epub, however its quite basic. If you want to be able to publish for the Kindle store you may need to follow this pdf guide InDesign to Kindle and epub If you want to bust open a epub file and edit the goodies inside like the CSS then you could use this Adobe Air Application PDFXML inspector It will most certainly do the trick. If you are keen on reading your epubs and pdf files on the iPhone then you should try Stanza and you can send your files from one device to another very easily. You could also try i2reader I have not, but you may love it! it works much the same way as Stanza.

If you would like some more info on the Adobe Content Server for DRM or even Digital Editions you should check out these pages. there is also a link to the content server on there, but you will have to have more than a man look. As well as all this there is also an excellent video on the topic from last Octobers Max conference in LA. It goes on for while but if you really need to make these things then this will help you do it.

Oh and if you have any questions you should ask the two masked banditos from the www.thequestionroom.com and follow them on twitter @thequestionroom Then of course there was that video of the digital version of wired magazine. Thats truely awesome. Its on Adobe TV.

Just aligning your text using the Justify button is just not good enough. However you can just watch this video tutorial all about the secrets of getting justified text looking just right. None of that horrible hyphenation either. Just letter space, word space and a little bit of typographic cheating is in order.
